Everyone is getting only buisier and buisier which is why I always wanted to stick to the deadlines and play everything as early as possible.
I suggest we try to finish this within a week. The deadline will be a bit later, but that doesnt stop you for scheduling your matches earlier.
First of all, all teams have until Monday 23:59 CEST to pick a map. You can pick a map from the entire NT mappool, not to be confused with the jj.net mappool. (YES IT IS* NOT JJ.NET MAPPOOL + NEW MAPS!)

Matches have to be scheduled before Thursday the 13th of September 23:59.

Matches have to be played before Friday the 21st of September 23:59.

I dont have to remind you that I will take actions when teams are unable to act before a deadline.

Final for 7th place:

Germany-Europe ( Bbswing, Wicked Wood*)

Final for 5th place:

Poland-Egypt (Semi, Gauntlet**)

Final for 3rd place:

Serbia-Finland (Gauntlet* ,Bbswing)

Final for 1st place:

Netherlands-Romania (GW, Semi)

*: Picked by MS
**: Changed from JE with the permission of the Polish team. //Grytolle

GL HF!

Edit: This means that levels can still be changed, as long as the opposing team agrees. That also applies to teams who had their map picked for them by a tournament official (MS).

We have lunch too at about 12:00. Anyway we respect all cultures and don't make critical remarks about them or anything near it.
Morning could be an option but its risky, as people might get up too late. Also I think many people have to do/ schedule their housework at that time.
Friday afternoon could be an option, Veg and me are available then, though I have no idea if Faw and Romania are.

11 (or even perhaps 10/10:30) CET would work for me too. I don't mind as long as it's on a free day of mine and considering I only have 4 working days that shouldn't be impossible. Lunch, in the Netherlands, is less important I guess :p

Weird. I eat when I am hungry. Can be 6 times per day or only once. Depends. And also, I never spend more than 10mins per meal. Usually it's 5mins. emo

I also eat when Im hungry in the afternoon, which is usually between 12 and 14, or whenever school allows it.
In the morning I eat when I wake up, Im not hungry then, but its the most important meal of the day, to give you energy.
At the end of the day, especially when I had school, Im mostly fucking hungry and I cant wait till dinner is ready.
During dinner our family TALKS with eachother, ofc not when they have food in their mouth, thats inpolite.
And so every country has its own habits. They have to do with climate, culture, etc. It is like that for a reason.
I have been to many other countries and I adapted myself. You should be open for other cultures, not refuse it with bias that your way is best and theirs sux.

I just said it's weird. I didn't say it sucks. It's great, actually. We don't do it here like that. I wish it's the same here. Really. Too bad you misunderstood me.

My comment wasn't mainly directed to you, but to everyone.
Still you should consider what is weird, that we do it, or that you want to do it but don't.

I added all the maps btw.
Remember you have until Thursday 23:59 CEST to schedule your matches!

Seems like Faw can play at friday as long as it's after 14:15 CET (and before, say, 16:30)

Considering you let Egypt change level, shouldn't Serbia have the same possibility if Fin doesn't care/mind?Xd

I dont know who did that.
I guess that person should report himself here.
You cannot have a policy that goes 2 different ways and since Im in charge of scheduling matches, they should have talked to me first.
Ill change EGY's level back to JE.

Of course the level can change if the other team agrees, which they did. That was clearly stated in the post. In the same way, Serbia can still pick a level if the other team agrees.

I'd apreciate if you would talk to me on MSN about this so you can hear my valid reasons, before you post sth like this.

Old rules:
Quote:
Play-offs

Semi-finals
A1-B2
B1-A2

A3-B4
B3-A4

A1, B1, A3 and B3 have 1-2 days when the round is announced to pick a map (not at the time of a clanwar itself) from the entire mappool.

A2, B2, A4 and B4 have 1-2 days when the round is announced to pick a map (not at the time of a clanwar itself) from the classics-free mappool.

The highest ranking team gets to determine the map order pick colour first on all levels (including the tiebreaker).

Finals / Bronze games

All teams pick a map from the entire tournament mappool ahead of the game. The order in which the maps are played are determined by a coin flip. The order in which colours are played on maps is determined by one coin flip for every level played.

As you can see, they are quite sloppily written.
1) the 1-2 days rule isn't as clear as it should have been with regards to its purpose
2) it only applies to the first games of the playoffs, whereas the other games have a similar rule

I've changed the rules to this, to make them more uniform:

Quote:

Play-offs

Semi-finals
A1-B2
B1-A2

A3-B4
B3-A4

A1, B1, A3 and B3 pick a map ahead of the match (not at the time of a clanwar itself) from the entire mappool.

A2, B2, A4 and B4 pick a map ahead of the match (not at the time of a clanwar itself) from the classics-free mappool.

Quote:
The purpose of letting teams pick maps ahead of games, is the same as the purpose of scheduling the new levels very early in the group stage: to make it easier for the teams to prepare for their matches.

Deadlines are set by a tournament official to set a time-frame for making important changes, in our case: picking a match date, and (in the play-offs) maps. They are binding in the sense that if you don't abide by them, you get into trouble, but not so binding that they can't be bent to accomodate the wishes of the playing teams. In other words, if you miss a deadline, you will be at the mercy of the opposing team. Similarily, in the case of a game's scheduling, the set time is binding, unless the teams agree to change it.

And I'm sorry for insulting you, Sven. You meant well, but we had a profound disagreement, and afaik there is no suspicion of partiality on your part!
