We will start mappool changes soon but we saw no point in delaying the season further

	i just have not adjusted to the new reality yet, and this bothers me. as for camel, im not gonna talk about this here and now; i believe i need a large pile of text to explain exactly.

	with the old plus seekers would hit me from 3-5 tiles away, in the new plus ist 1-2 or even zero, so i feel stupid for being such a bad player by not skirting it. people used to say "air" much more, just spaming seekers and waiting for the inevitable "air" used to be an efective stratagy, not anymore, the other rabbits now skirt very many simply spamed seekers. with the old plus i would play beleiving nothing exists where i see it, you cant do that with the new plus.

	Are we going to keep being vague, or actually elaborate on what makes the old plus supposedly better? It's annoying. Camels brick-walled login system is a case of usage, not merely the fact scripting exists. I can bet if mutators did not exist, there would've been some awkward utility you'd have to download. 	I only read this just now... I'm not a fan of how restrictive camel has become (in fact this is what complainers are probably referring to), but overall I think plus has been beneficial. It was the great serverlist death during 2016 that stopped many new players from joining. With the advent of scripted levels and mutators, plusonly became common. I believe most people have quit because of real life and other games/hobbies. Not because "OH NO PLUS". I found the metagame and counterplay stale, so I retired from competitve play. I could go more into why but I don't think anyone wants to hear me ramble on further. * Before anyone pulls the assumption stick on me, character usage is only a small part of the problem, though it does make it less entertaining. Plenty of competitive games still get popular with bad balance.

	I can throw in my 2 cents i guess. I've actually came across some of the really older players (people who played before my time) and they all seemed to have stopped for the same reason. They got overwhelmed by all the new stuff that's been added to the game aswell as the complete change of gameplay over the years. That doesn't mean its the fault of players or the developers. Both did a fantastic job imo, problem occurs becuz people simply don't have time. It would take time for them to get used all the new stuff and they feel like its just not worth the time since people usually have irl stuff going on. I believe this was the point kimo was trying to make but i wont speak for him, i have no problems with the new features btw. Time also affects even players who used to be active before jj2 went kinda dead. Every one of the older players has a job or even a family. At best its just college. How can you expect someone who has barely a few hours to squeeze in for themselves to spend them on jj2 when it takes like an hour atleast just to start ONE game.

	New players are great but I hate the sort of whining that some people like Raven and kimo bring up, where everything new is seen as the cause of some imaginary problems. The plus team is doing a heck of a job.

	What do you mean with 'pointless' updates? Also take in account that some/most improvements were requested by the community. Though I believe when you show a new player/oldie the new plus features (such as scripting etc...) they would be more likely to come back. But the one's who'd play hardcore competitive games really wouldn't care. Main reason why jjnet is dead imo..

	@lejdi exactly. With the amount of new pointless updates and the continuous server list changes it feels like new players are not welcomed into this community at all. Everything revolves around JJ2++++++++++++ now, which for some idiotic reason has become a necessity for at least joining a server, something that wasn't even the case a few years ago (when, "coincidentally", many more players were active). I advise the people who are still working to make this platform better to stop trying to constantly take this game to a new level in terms of functionalities because it was fine the way it was before (the ones who truly care about these changes are part of a very limited group). Or at least take into consideration that by doing all of this you are pushing new excited potential players away.

	There are enough players from the top three clans who would be motivated to play until 200. Though it's a bit disappointing that no other clans feel like being active. Maybe we should think of new ways to increase activity of smaller clans, such as awards or weekly challenges like in last JDC season.
