Play-offs and Rule Fixes2018-06-06 22:37 | Vivando
The following clans are invited to the play-offs: -t3>, [GpW], CC and CX. Should one of them not accept the invitation, the clan ranked fifth will be invited, and so on.

Clanleaders, please confirm in a comment here whether your clan will be participating. Please do so by June 10th, at GDT 21:00.

In addition, the rules regarding overtime in a tiebreaker round has been fixed, since it previously wouldn't work in case a clanwar was tied but the round not:

§4.3.2.2.2. In case that the clanwar is still tied at the end of the last tiebreaker round, a new round will be started with a maxscore of 1 and no timelimit. The winner of that round wins the match. The referee flips a coin in order to determine which clan may choose team colors.

For play-offs:

§6.2 A clan that has reached a higher ranking during the season than its opponent, has the privilege of picking map order, team color order on every map (can choose team colors on overtime round as well) and a tiebreaker map (if necessary).

[NT 2018] Groups2018-05-31 22:54 | Krzysiek
As the deadline for real country teams sign up has ended it is time to give some wider info to community how the tournament will work.

Having in mind that many participants are not available in June, we decided to agree on 1 month period starting 15th of June and lasting till 15th of July during which teams have to play their group stage matches. It is up to teams whenever they want to schedule their matches. So even if u cannot play in June you are free to schedule both of them in July! Although if some of the matches won't be SCHEDULED during that period, NT crew will arrange it on 15th of July as we want to keep tournament smooth and enjoyable for everyone. This time we wont force you to play in predetermined maps in group stage so u are free to play ur matches in any order you want!

That is all for official info! Now lets announce Groups of the National Tournament 2018!!!
Thanks to CJ, record of drawing NT groups is available somewhere on CJ's Twitch channel!

Group 1:
A1 - Finland
A2 - Egypt
A3 - Serbia

Group 2:
B1 - United Kingdom
B2 - The Netherlands
B3 - Poland

Mappool willl consist of maps already chosen by NT staff and maps choosed by team's Captain. So stay tuned for more informations in near future!

Also. We are looking for people whose could be Broadcaster/Referee/Expert. If u feel like being one of those feel free to contact NT crew member or post a comment below!

We demand Captain of each team to join jj2 discord group where in special channels we will arrange NT matches and vote for maps.

Clanwars and Rule Changes2018-05-24 21:28 | Vivando
Before the ladder play-off stage may begin, the following clanwars are to be played:

- 2018-05-25 19:00 GDT +1 | not vs -t3>
- 2018-05-26 22:00 GDT +1 | [CDF] vs [GpW]
- 2018-06-03 21:00 GDT +1 | CC vs [GpW]

While the season is coming to a close, the JJnet crew has undergone important updates to the rules that were previously unclear or inadequate. The crew has also received suggestions and consent to the updated rules from each active clan. These rules are to be applied immediately. Here is a summary of changes to the rules:

-§2.1 Clans with 20% or more of the maximum points may not refuse clanwars (not ladder matches) against lower-ranked clans. Clanwar challenges should be sent on the site, but once the challenge has been received, the receiver should initiate negotiations about the details, most importantly: when the clanwar is to be played. After receiving a challenge, recruiting players that will participate in the clanwar is prohibited. Once an agreement has been reached, accept the clanwar and make sure that an admin updates the clanwar accordingly to the agreements reached (time, and any deviations from the standard clanwar format - make sure to provide evidence in the case of disputes).

-§2.3 The first challenge has priority over other challenges: Quickly accepting a second challenge and refusing the first is not allowed and will be considered abuse.

-§5.1 When a clan reaches 100 points, the ladder ranking will be frozen, meaning that no more ladder matches may be played and no vetoes may be changed. Players may only play CW matches for the clan they are a member of at that point until the play-offs have finished. Clanwars or challenges made before the moment when 100 points was reached still have to be played, mutually cancelled or rejected (with the appropriate punishments) off-season, however. Once all off-season clanwars have been dealt with, the four highest ranked clans will be invited to participate in the play-offs, which will start as soon as possible.

§5.1.3.1 If no other clans sign up, the clan that reached the most points wins the season.

§1.4.1 When a clan has reached 10 points, they will get a chance to veto a level. At intervals of 50 (50, 100, 150, 200) points they will have opportunities to change their veto, up until but not including the scoring limit for the season.

Changes like typo fixes that did not essentially change any rule were left out from the summary.

UPDATE: Also the description in the CW points calculator has been updated. The maximum points awarded/withdrawn are now up to 25/-25 as agreed. The calculator itself will be updated later.
