I wonder if JJ2 can be made for PSP. The game does not require much. A game that works on Windows 95-98 , does not require much.
I hope that there is someone out there , who can make JJ2 work on psp.

Just posting here to say that i tried to run Windows 95 on my psp today.
With Bochs it's a livin' hell, but it seems possible with dosbox for PSP.
Haven't got win95 to work yet however, because some dumbass tutorial poster removed his files, and left me to guess at the correct configuration.
And Windows hates me, as usual :p
(if someone has a link to a good tutorial with files that ARE available, I'd be happy to hear it )

Jake , I have already found that pack , 500 mb " wich contains Windows 3.1 , 95 , 98 ....it is very hard to start it , the problem is with the buttons , maybe you know a faster way to enter windows ... but really ,it is hard for those who don't know how to start it.
Try to run jj2 with the emu.
Or run the game through windows 98

Okay, now that jj.net is back, Ill try this post again:
sorry for the doublepost, but i just tried it.
Windows95 booted up fine, and after modifying the image to contain a version of jj2 (both 1.23 and 1.24, no plus) it showed up perfectly where i put it (in a folder on the desktop)
However, once I tried to start JJ2 I got an error, something about a illegal operation... I'll try again later and post some detailed results, also I'll try JCS which I haven't tried yet...

I think it would be better to try installing the game on the PS VITA , only if it could be possible , it is not yet possible to hack the console.
i think your wrong

Ok , maybe I was wrong , is that the hack , what makes possible installing PS vita games ? and not buying them ..?? Like on the psp , you downloaded the games on your computer , and installed on the psp.

This hack doesn't enable you to run/load ISO's from your memory card, However, It is the first step in making an ISO loader.
So no running downloaded games yet, but the first steps have been set

I searched on google and it said that the battery will last between 5-8 hours. But what I don't like at all that it has no internal memory and tv output. The game console is expensive ,you have to buy a memory card , original games , that is a lot of money , doesn't worth to buy a PS Vita now.

Is there any hope to see jazz jackrabbit 2 ported to PS VITA ? , I know ,it is impossible because the console is not yet hacked , even when it will be hacked , it will not support pc gaming , but through an Emulator maybe.
wKTK , have you tried running the game through win 95/98 ? you said you will post some results

Yeah, i tied it 2 weeks ago.
Got Win95 running, added a preinstalled jj2+files to my desktop.
Everything showed up fine.
Then I clicked Jazz2.exe, and after ~12 seconds an error popped up saying Jazz2.exe performed an illegal operation :(
I'll try it again sometimes this week, but don't expect anything.
Not much news, but I'm developing an open source remake of Jazz Jackrabbit 2, which would be easier for someone to port to PSP than the original closed source version. Still, it's gonna take a long time till it's finished.
