Hi all, we played a Ladder against aEs. I played with a new Nickname. For joke i told i'm new. Now i wanna sumbit the match and they tell: "We didn't play a Ladder Match". There's no real rule about this as far as I know. You should however be open about who you are. I understand why they can get pissed off.
Edit: how did he? Last time I kicked Berkan for possible unlimited ammo people were resistant with agreeing.

Sulfur saw him respawn with ammo and told that to me. He doesn't know it's called unlimited ammo, I doubt he saw it before so I don't see why would he lie. I think the others saw him as well, the map was semi so there was no way he could get any ammo on base.

Also, by 'respawn with ammo' do you mean Sulfur saw him shooting, or he saw him with seekers or something 'chosen'?

If they're powered, then it was probably cheating. If they weren't, it was probably a bug. (yes, there's a bug in which when after you die, you may have few ammo already).

Sounds like he used "spawn with ammo" (which removes the lines of code that remove your ammo when you die), if he indeed was seen shooting suspicious ammo right after spawning.

Considering spawning with ammo or not works locally, I really doubt such bug exists. That only happens when you "die" without dying at your screen. Aka lag. Otherwise if your Jazz2 registers you die, you will lose ammo unless you cheat.

well as far as i know berkan often happens to be 'a little' lagger so i guess he could have that lag described above. imo to make things the most fair, this ladder could be replayed with referee, thats all. because its a bit too late to prove anything and a chatlog where some pupil says that someones cheating isnt really a proof. there are few people who can be a referee, these are: andrzej, dan zeal, djazzy, fawful, grytolle, me, nerd, sasik, sj and warrior. just ask one of them about refereeing when you feel like needed it. just play this ladder again and problem solved (1 point w te czy we w te).

Ok, back to a more intelligent discussion. If Berkan used unlimited ammo, I guess a missing proof would let him get of lightly for now. Just too bad his reputation may allow several self-proclaimed pwners and bosses to make fun of him, while their own potential bad behaviors are kept secret in the dark for whatever time. And I do not doubt if these exist.
Anyway, in my opinion it is aES' fault if they accepted to ladder without knowing who their opponents were, and I would therefore let this ladder be valid. For the possible cheating, I already doubted its provableness.

I did some research. It is very unlikely, however possible, for a player to respawn with powered up ammo, including seeks in semi. Ping doesn't matter, I suppose it might be possible even for the host. Ofc, certain conditions must be met, I don't really feel like explaining. Still, imo, it can randomly, rarely happen during serious games.
Which doesn't mean it had to happen during that one. I'm neutral, just saying this situation can be achieved without cheats.

So basically.. Create a program which looks several possible cheats up like unlimited ammo, spawn with ammo, high resolution hack, radar and all that stuff that was ever put in the world. If someone is caught cheating it should update a server, give the IP, the time/date and what exact cheat. No ladders should be played without every player using that program anymore then or something, heh.
But I dunno if that can be achieved and if you can bypass that too (probably). - Or well, maybe a program that looks for edited code/packets could work already . Anything changed by a player that shouldn't be played is usually a cheat I guess(?).
