I wish to give you guys some information that may alter the entire jj2 competetive scene.
First, no, and I mean no game which is played at the ladder is trustworthy anymore. Every game may have someone playing with radar and it isn't traceable.
Now players may be wondering why in the world I would state such thing. First of all, I got my hands on Radar v2 today. I know exactly what is possible now. The levellist this radar version works on: Semi, JE, BBlair, BBswing, silwi, Gauntlet, Epitome, FF, WW, Distopia, super, TCS, DW and Zaitox.
I can test it out with you guys if you want, I dont care. I can give all information by just checking radar basically. I even know everybodies health.
Ah, I also dont need teamchat anymore because I know when my flagcarrier is low and I know when to shout "S" because I can see enemy flagcarrier getting 1. All automatically.
Now I cannot tell how long this has been around already, I just know from a source he's been given a couple of untraceable Radar versions already.
I'll be able to show screenshots and I will be able to give evidence of everything I am stating. You can come visit me at my house and I'll show you everything (of radar *cough*) for that matter.
Either way, laddering me is probably not gonna happen now anymore and I am aware of that. But I just wish players to know what is actually possible at jj2 and what you're dealing with. I also wish to get a discussion going and for someone to finally make whatever program that detects cheating - may if even be a program everybody has to use locally. That said, that'll probably be bypassable too so I might as well not play anything competetive at all anymore.
Enjoy.

Eh I didnt mention hakum and cheating together.
Also SR was the one who kicked him out of ib for cheating.
Btw half the community says he cheats.
And we have better things to do than accuse hakum...
I left ib). No slayer kicked me.

Why is it such a big deal if MS is doing it? And it isn't if Ius or moti are doing it? Tell me that.
Because you should be mature enough to know what's up. Not to mention CDF consists of probably 50% of the "omg cheaters" accusing players so I named mainly you. And tell me why will you want your answer so much then, want to continue arguing about it? It's pointless, you know very well you've been accusing "them" of cheating for a while already e.g. previous ladders :p.
And @ glados:
[21:16:54] Artem: well, I have idea for a program that people who play ladders need to run, it will check if they cheat or not...
[21:17:04] Artem: and send data to server
[21:17:12] Jorie // Vegito: thats always useful
[21:17:16] Jorie // Vegito: especially now
[21:17:43] Artem: well as I seen it on forum, every "programmer" hates me
[21:17:46] Jorie // Vegito: just create a new account or ask permission to post at the JCF at least
[21:18:07] Jorie // Vegito: but any good idea is welcome
[21:18:20] Artem: if they hate me, I won't tell any ideas to them or help them
I guess he has an idea, if he made it I doubt. So perhaps that was a lie but the idea might actually be worth listening to.

Artem claims to have implemented a remote-triggered self-destruction method into each of his programs, but I can't confirm it without a specimen of the program.

Good, so I know it's nothing personal. I never called Hakum that much a cheater myself but if I did it was probably joking. The last ladder fight CDF vs iB started because I said in MS "Atleast we pwned here." and then the conflict started, it was frustration from both sides. However MS and Andrzej indeed called hakum cheater several times (not any other CDFer as far I've seen) but alot more people were doing that.

Well, he seriously messed up by giving one of his programs that can be easily abused to the comunnity.
But if he shows/provides us with a solution, I'll respect him for that.
At least he's manly enough to clean up his mess, if its true.
gn.
I suggest to site administrators and clan ladder participants that a point last season be subtracted from VS's point total, a point currently be subtracted from t3 and another from GpW.
These don't regard the use of radar or other software.
Rather, the reasons for which, respectively, are starting off-base, playing with setting /noammocrates on and joining a team exclusively for one match.
I can link to each of them, but I have no evidence.
I don't provide my opinion on each case, since it may be irrelevant.
Whether or not the matches were against the rules isn't for me alone to determine, but without certainty I consider said practices to be cheats or abuse toward this tournament.
I spectated a game that was started while a player was away from their team's base.
It's odd to retroactively accuse myself of something; I did alter the settings outside of my given administrative command as a response to the common practice of ammo-hoarding prior to formal rounds; I had planned to reverse the change at the start of play; I forgot to and noticed the difference after the match had been counted.
Clan membership can be ambiguous, and I discuss this topic with respect to everyone's concern for the validity of all aspects of competition.
Again on the subject of spyware and hacking, to ensure on-line privacy seems to me impossible.
Disturbances such as this have precedent:
A tool was illegitimately distributed approximately a decade ago, and the problem that ensued was halted by its creators own words asking others to delete the file(s) and to cease sharing of and about it. Now I rarely witness such technologies in use - I have as recently as this week.

CC sent DL on a secret mission to catch hakum cheating, how is that not wanting to crush someone's reputation?
And stop talking about CDF, you guys only play private games and don't know a thing what's going on out there.
OMG cheaters? seriously...
And if you refer to this:

I will refer to this:

How about a new rule: start with /resetsettings .
Does the 'anti radar' contain spyware? ^^

No idea. I wouldn't advice anyone to use it unless the source code is made available and compiled by someone trustworthy

No we didn't. She took her own initiative to do it and we didn't mind. You really should stop making assumptions about everything.

Out where? In CDF? But yes, Iustyn and Lahm are just as bad as you guys.

And there you both did the same. All very recent matches as if you were completely convinced of something. Lol.

So apparently even if we only play private games you even show your biasm in the posts you make after the ladders. Never mind before or during the ladders. DL went on "a mission" herself cause Hakum told her he can give her radar (literally) that's untraceable however then he backed out. We don't know if he even had radar installed at his computer. We agreed at letting her do that cause he made everyone suspect him of cheating by telling such stuff. I don't think that equals being so convinced of him cheating as you are.
Anyway, as Gry said, Lahm, Iustyn (and in fact moti too judging by her post earlier) are just as biased. However of the people who openly showed their biasm about 50% are CDFers (3 out 6 we discussed now?) so I guess it was valid to call CDF in brackets. Anyway, I don't know why you're defending yourself as you yourself said and were entirely sure Hakum was cheating and now when I tell you you did so and to stop cause there is no evidence, you're going all defensive and disagree you said so. Makes sense hm? *facepalm*
Idd Hordy, old.
If that's still his idea of CDF then it was outdated.
No, it only took me 10 seconds to find this in this thread alone:
If you ever played against Hakum you will understand.
Lol.
There have already been a lot of unfair matches lith and there is only a bigger chance on more of them now.

stfu about CDF plz,
and I know the difference between skills and sth else.
3 posts in one thread that show you're biased against certain players without any evidence.
http://jazzjackrabbit.net/index.php?league=1&season=1&op=descr&id=1894
During that ladder alone you 3 (or at least 2?) called them cheaters.
http://jazzjackrabbit.net/index.php?league=1&season=1&op=descr&id=1873
Here, you suggested the same thing with your first post.

Bah sth went wrong when I wanted to submit my comment, lets think....
I think Laro and Andrzej didn't really say much, maybe in the 'fight' ladder with ib, where they were responding to insults.
And even if they did you shouldnt mention the entire CDF, otherwise you could and should mention (EX) GPW. (Lahm ius, moti)
Except for some comments about hakum, who got banned from ib by SR (reason cheating), I haven't called anyone a cheater.
In some ladder matches some strange things have occured that could have been cheating, I have commented the same way on these matches, without claiming it was cheating.

Interesthing things that have happened here. Actually, all of us knew this obvious secret, but no one ever dared mentioning it online. I am glad somebody eventually let the cat out of the bag.
I regard these circumstances as a chance for the entire community, playing a game that may be older than the people's average age, to get away from excessive competition. I never doubt the worth of ladders, clanwars, clan successions and the like for the experience of jj2, but I think time has come to calm down again, sit together, and look for a solution against this. Compare it to the financial crisis which marked the end of an overflowing and harmful greed for more.
Just my 50 cents, not related to any reply here, but intended to ease this somehow delicate situation.
Greetings,

The first ladder screen was a fight, caused frustration from both sides. The second ladder was true, but the third ladder doesn't prove anything. If you tell people to stop calling eachother cheaters, do it on msn, or maybe in ZD or something. But don't call names here, now here is a conflict going on instead of finding a solution. I really hope you didn't did this on purpose.
