(This post has been helpful to 3 of the forumers.)
Welcome to the JJ2 community, Quoser . If you go to the home screen (by clicking on 'News'), you should pay attention to the right corner. There you'll find "Latest forum posts", "Ranking" etc. If you want to join an active clan, you should pick one of those listed under Ranking (for instance CDF). The clan name is also a link to its page on this website, and there you can find its members. I think you should send a message to the team leader, and tell him/her you would like to join the clan. Do not go to "Teams" (upper left, under "Menu"), for you will find an enormous list of clans, most of which are no longer active.
As for the Camel Duels: CD 1 is not password protected, the others are. You can find the server password and login code in the same row as Latest Forum Posts, Ranking, Online etc. In that row you will find "JJ2 Server Passwords" (only when logged in). Those will allow you to enter the servers and log in (as Newbie). There are more advanced "levels", such as Player and Trustee, but as a 'normal' player I am not allowed to share that information. If you want to participate in duels or 2v2/3v3 matches, it is important to familiarize yourself with the codes used in-game. Especially when you are with teammates, you must communicate with them throughout the game. During a 1v1 duel, this won't be necessary. You can find the codes and additons/comments/etc here:
In order to join any of the CD servers you need the latest version of the game. Currently it is JJ2 + Beta v. 4.3 (2013-10-30). You can download it on www.jazz2online.com.
If you want a fancy signature like I do, go to User CP (Menu - Forums - and then directly under JJnet's Forum, next to "Latest Posts", "Latest Threads" and "Search").
I hope I have been of some help to you , and hopefully I'll see you soon in any CD server.
I will lead mankind into a new world.

We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

Welcome! It's good to see a new player. On Camel servers you should asking the players for doing some 2vs2 or 3vs3, don't worry if you are losing. As much you are doing duels with others, the much better you becoming. Also don't play too much Hotels or Tests, it's life waste.
Fucked the signature.
