On the page that shows all the threads for whatever topic, should give you the page numbers on it too for convenient navigation, instead of having to click on the thread and then go to the latest page number.
Not really important, but maybe an option to show your rabbit instead of the "photo"? One or the other. I think I remember suggesting this earlier, but I think it's easy to apply.
Having the option to hide smilies. I think this used to exist but for some reason it went. I don't really use them much and they kind of distract me from writing my posts.

Good idea, but I don't care too much about giving users ways to "express themselves" or whatever at this time (mostly because coding thought-through settings pages is a lot of work)

Good idea, but that would also require a settings page for each user. Do you mean that smilies should be filtered out completely, or that they should be displayed in text form?

Good idea, but I don't care too much about giving users ways to "express themselves" or whatever at this time (mostly because coding thought-through settings pages is a lot of work)

You know I was joking about the reputation feature right? I don't think the jj.net forums really needs one. Btw about the smileys I just meant when the list is shown at the side for you to use them, it's not about if you want to see them appear as images or not.

The reputation idea was planned before,and I do not know how would it work here. We do not have as much lame people like JCF,but we have random spammers

We can always convert it into a thanks-system (no neg reps), as suggested on the JCF and as seen on Digiex (just recalculate the rep and ignore all negative votes)

I feel stupid for not suggesting this earlier, but will there ever be signatures?

OK, the reputation system is done, on the user side. I will make an admin panel for moderating it eventually, but I can already monitor it myself in phpmyadmin of course, so you can't go abusing it just now either anyway.
Edit: If you were handing out some rep during my testing, it has probably been removed, but feel free to reapply it.

Out of curiousity, what is with everyones rep being so different? What number does it start from? And wierd, mine when from 169 to 111 in just a few minutes. This must be bugged. It's not possible considering how many there's only online at a time. Seems that many others had their rep go down fast...what.

* I added a smaller boost for admins (so as to not let DZ, for instance, start with less reputation than our biggest spammers)
I accidentally gave everyone the admin bonus at first, which is why your reputation dropped so suddenly (the attentive reader will more or less have figured out by now what the admin boost constitutes)
* The amount of rep you can give or take depends on your current reputation: (rep/10, for some reason rounded up/down (bug/feature), at this time)
Result (after very few votes cast) The line marks the beginning of users without any admin boost)

Could you add somehow the nicks in Quote box? I mean, when we quote, we only see the quote text, not the author of the text. It'd be good if we see it.
