§1: Level choices
§1.0 Season 20 special rule: The current mappool for ladder matches will be based on a rotating mappool, where the complete mappool has been split into 3 parts. The first part starts out as the current mappool when the season begins. When any clan reaches 50 ladder points during the season, part 2 will replace part 1 as the current mappool and at 100 points part 3 will replace part 2. In clanwars, including final matches, the whole mappool with all of its 3 parts can be used for level choices.
§1.1 The levels in the mappool cannot be refused unless a clan has made a veto against the map.
§1.1.2 A level marked as 2v2+ cannot be refused in a game of any size (except in the case of a veto), because 2v2 is the minimum format.
§1.1.3 A level marked as 3v3+ cannot be refused in 3v3 games or bigger, but it can be refused in a 2v2 game (except in the case of a veto).
§1.1.4 If a game is played with uneven teams (which is only possible to a limited extent; see other rules for details) the size of the larger team counts: a 2v3/1v3 is regarded as a 3v3.
§1.1.5 Clarification: nothing prevents a clan from picking its own veto level.
§1.2 The JJnet crew reserves the right to add any scripts or mutators to associated servers. In the same way we reserve the right to edit mappool maps as we see fit (but we will seek the cooperation of the level makers if they are active).
§1.2.1 Such changes will however be listed in the mappool page.
§1.2.2 In the near future, some mappool maps will be modified so that their ammo boxes and barrels turn into infinite ammo sources. This will be done in order to emulate the "ammo piles" that used to be present in most of these cases before JJ2+ provided a "bug fix" for them which made the ammo despawn after a number of seconds.
§1.2.3 In a similar fashion, some barrels will be modified in some mappool maps to only give out bouncer ammo (this was the case before JJ2+).
§1.3 Other levels may be played, but only if both clans agree.
§2: Vetoes
§2.0 Season 20 special rule: This overrides rule §2.1 below. Every clan may veto up to 2 maps from each part of the rotating mappool, so 6 vetoes in total. Map size category restrictions do not apply. The vetoes will apply to both ladder matches and clanwars as before. When any clan reaches the milestone of 50 or 100 ladder points, all clans receive 1 opportunity to change TWO (2) of their vetoes. Same restrictions apply to dividing the vetoes evenly for all mappool parts. When the season freezes and final matches are commencing, all clans participating in either of the final matches will be allowed to change ALL of their existing vetoes, if any.
§2.1 Every clan may veto up to 6 maps from the whole mapool since the beginning of the season. When a veto has been cast, it is permanent until the start of the next season or until the clan changes it after reaching a milestone in ladder points. At milestones of 33%, and 66% of the max ladder points a clan receives 1 opportunity to change TWO (2) of their vetoes. These opportunities can be used at any time during the season until the ladder has been frozen.
§2.1.1 When a clan has cast a veto on a map, it cannot be picked by their opponent in either ladder matches or clanwars, unless their opponent explicitly agrees.
§2.1.2 Clans may only gain each opportunity once, so if e.g. a clan falls back in points after reaching a milestone and after having already used its opportunity, it cannot reuse the opportunity.
§2.1.3 The opportunities to change maps do not stack. If you skip your opportunity to change a veto after e.g. at the first milestone, you can still change only 2 vetoes after the next milestone.
§2.1.4 If a clan uses only a part of its allowed vetoes from the start and wishes to add unused vetoes later (without waiting for the next milestone), they'll have to contact an admin to change their veto field. Note that adding unused vetoes do not count as real veto changes, which is why you might not want to use the JJNet's veto-feature for that, unless you are also changing an existing veto at the same time. E.g. If a clan has 3 vetoes set at the first milestone, they can change 2 of the 3 existing ones and add new vetoes at the same time.
§2.1.5 If a clan has a clanwar scheduled, any veto changes AND additions by the clan need to be done at least 48 hours before the clanwar's scheduled starting time. If the clanwar is to be played within less than 48 hours from the point of scheduling it, any veto changes AND additions need to be done within 1 hour from the scheduling point.
§2.1.6 The vetoed level names need to match with the ones defined in the mappool. Use the new Team management -> Edit veto feature to edit your vetoes handily using the select lists. This way you do not need to worry about typos.
§2.1.7 Any illegal vetoes that are set against the rules (e.g. too many maps in one part of a rotating mappool), will be modified by the admins as they see fit. Playing with illegal vetoes may lead to punishments.
