So why don't you want to be friends?

Too many reasons: 1. Everyone is an acquaintance until proven otherwise. I don't make friends with strangers, as they could turn out to be an ass, or a waste of time. 2. I don't care about people who want to chat about random things all the time. 3. His English is pretty broken, so I don't expect him to talk about many interesting topics. 4. Listening to capslock constantly gets painful after a while. 5. I go on battle to play, not to yapper (unless I'm spectating, but spectating is disabled in that server, thus not a chatroom to me) In a nutshell: Friendship is a process, not a switch. You become friends when you feel it, not from "CAN I BE UR FRIEND?". You feel it when you have something to relate, comfort, or offer to. Getting annoyed if someone gets killed in battle/ctf when they treat it like a chatroom reeks of being a total tool. You either don't give a crap that players are killing you because you aren't playing, or you play. In the end, it's just a game so insulting over it is a waste of energy, and certainly anything but friend material.

A real JJ2 player uses shift.

I must be a fake JJ2 player then. There is literally no reason to walk in MP, though. I still use capslock instead of always run. It's just more convenient (plus I keep forgetting the run command and use fullscreen half of the time anyway).

Why use run command? Then you have to type "/run off" again in case you wanna walk. Best thing to do: 1. Play with CAPS ON. While chatting, simply turn it off. 2. Hold run button. I repeatedly turn CAPS OFF/ ON for running and walking. Sometimes I use run button since I keep holding the run button [W/L Shift] even if CAPS ON anyway.
