Go to | 2021-10-17 | CC vs. CX (CTF clanwar) | GG and that concludes season 18! Thx to both teams for playing and congratulations to CX for the 3rd place!
Not only was it uncertain whether or not this match will hapen in the first place, but even at the last moment AhMo faced some difficulties with installing the latest version of JJ2+, when CX was missing a player. However, team CC was proactive in helping AhMo to overcome his technical problems to make the game happen. Mad props to CC for assisting their opponents even when they were about to play the final competitive match of the season! It really shows communality at its best! |
Go to | 2021-10-07 | CC vs. CX (CTF clanwar) | The council has now set a final schedule for this match, which is a last resort-schedule (log in to see the exact date and time). This means that if CC and CX can settle another schedule sooner than this one with doodle, etc. that is also fine. However, if no other schedule can be found between the clans, then the clans have to play at this date and time with any line-ups they can muster.

Go to | 2021-05-15 | -t3> vs. CC (CTF clanwar) | GG, WP and thx for playing CC! This was apparently a nice game for the honors were no ladder points were given, considering our big difference in ladder points. Perhaps there's room for improvement in the rules.
Also it was our first clanwar win with CC, I think. Thanks also to the ref, broadcaster & commentators! |

Well, let's call it his first game this year then! |

Go to | 2021-03-20 | [CDF] vs. -t3> (CTF ladder match) | Close call at the end of both rounds! At least Soneek got his first ladder this season (if I'm not mistaken). |
Go to | 2021-03-17 | ZStats t-shirt competition | I have now removed the points reward from GpW as requested, after receiving verification that Naps is indeed one of the leaders (also no opinion from PF and no response from Urbs, so I shall deem him as inactive for now). The 3rd place reward goes to CC, which seemed to be the next one in ZSats ranking clan-wise (correct me if this is incorrect).
Note that however, should GpW play any ladder match/CW/etc. for the ladder during this season, these points need to be restored. For now it doesn't really matter though. |

Go to | 2021-03-07 | ZStats t-shirt competition | Indeed MS. Of course, if Urbs wishes to deactivate GpW as a clan on JJNet, that can be done too, in which case GpW should no longer be rewarded points either. Clans deactivate naturally anyway after some time (I don't remember exactly after which point). For example NC was represented in the stats, but didn't receive points due to being marked as inactive on JJNet.
Yeah, there is already a rules- and a mappool council. We are still in progress of forming them, but should be done soon. We might create a separate one for the multiladder too. |
Go to | 2021-03-07 | ZStats t-shirt competition | There is actually an error in the point rewards. Antix requested his account to be removed, thus he should no longer be in GpW squad list. However, the squad list page still erroneously displayed the player names of the removed user accounts. I have now fixed that, which makes Antix not eligible for the points rewards. The rewards should be therefore re-adjusted. However, from what I saw from the ZStats ranking table, P-F is also present in it, so GpW should probably gain 2 points instead of 4, unless there was no other clan represented before him.
The ladder points are no one's personal property, but clan property. Therefore Naps does not have the right to request removing these points. In general, one cannot request points to be taken away without a valid reason, e.g. when a fake ladder match was submitted. The fact that a total of 6 players (that I'm aware of) from GpW's squad list requested their accounts to be removed is no valid reason to take away points that were gained by valid players. The only way to make a clan unable to receive point rewards is to have its identity removed from the site, which can be requested only by the one who created the clan on the site, which is Urbs in this case. |

Go to | 2020-06-09 | Cheats and Punishments | I thought I would simply abstain from this topic for good, but after having inspected the situation from a more third person view for a while, I think my thoughts are clearer now. Also, no worries moti! Like I stated in my newspost earlier, I decided to retire already long ago, which had nothing to do with this case.
People would naturally think that it's a waste of time to perform such investigations which in the end don't have any concrete effect, except for feeding conflicts between a number of people. I thought so too. But on a second thought, this investigation was very productive actually.
I mean first of all, most of us probably would have never learned about such technical details about JJ2+ that SE had to offer to us. Secondly, this was the decisive spark to finally push forward some improvements for many JJ2+ features, including antiradar improvements, for example. Finally, there has been progress towards fairer distribution and information share in the JJNet council, etc. including Shadow joining the council as one of the representatives. Not to mention any of the more subtle, positive changes for the community. Of course it wasn't all positive in the end, though.
So finally, I think this investigation was very helpful to change the status quo in many ways. |

Go to | 2019-10-08 | JJnet Duel Tournament Starts! | A warning for Loon, AbdouN and everyone else: The tournament rules state the following:
"The game mode is CTF. Only maps that are in the tournament mappool above are allowed."
For having ignored the rules and picking non-mappool maps in their duel, Loon and AbdouN are punished by maxing out their map picks on one of their previously picked maps each.
This means that Loon won't be able to pick Superconductor CTF and AbdouN won't be able to pick Scrapyard anymore in their remaining group stage duels.
From now on, whenever a player picks a non-mappool map in the tournament, those rounds will have to be replayed with mappool maps. If a player refuses to replay them, the player will forfeit them. Same applies to rounds played in otherwise illegal map picks (picked more than 2 times by the player). |
